Our story

FROM 2020-2024

September 2020

Having been diagnosed with a severe and rare form of acne back in 2005 I became obsessed with skin and learning as much as I could with regards to acne. growing up I never had access to the type of clinic that is so readily available these days. So, I made it my mission to learn as much about skin as i could in the hopes that one day I would open my own clinic, fast forward 15 years and there I was opening up my very own five star skin clinic in my home town of chester. Like most of us I was sitting at home during a pandemic wondering what the hell I was going to do with my life so I started planning for the future and decided to launch PJS.

2021-2022

This was our first year in business and what a first year it was! I won the best before and after award through Health Xchange for my work with the Clenziderm range from Obagi Medical. My business was growing from strength to strength and I knew ultimately I would soon outgrow my first premises pretty quickly. 

2023

WOW!! This was a huge year for PJS, from winning skin specialist of the year in October at the NBA’s to going from a one man business to a team of 5 in a matter of months. We also acquired two new laser machines and a new LED machine whilst also growing our active client base to over one thousand five hundred clients which still blows my mind every time I say it. Also not forgetting a clinic relocation with two huge treatment rooms and a waiting area, 2023 was definitely our biggest year to date.
